
Australian Team Mirage Wins again at the Dubai 24h

It’s the 2nd year in a row that the Australians have won the A1 Class in the Toyo Tires Dubai 24hr endurance race held at the F1 Dubai Autodrome.
Team Mirage was led by Mal Rose with all 3 Mitsubishi Cup Race Cars finishing the event. The cars were fitted with the Toyo’s new PROXES RS1 slick tyre.
The winning class Mitsubishi was driven by Mal Rose, Peter Leemhuis & Tony Alford with 482 laps completed. (34th outright)
Third in class were newcomers Paul Stubber, Ray Stubber & Ron Moller, all from W.A. with 456 laps completed (42nd outright)
The teams 3rd car finished in 4th Class, driven by Richard Gartner, Kevin Burton & Adam Wallis with 391 laps completed. (52nd outright)

Team Mirage Australia was awarded the inaugural TOYO TIRES team trophy for the highest placed TOYO tyres equipped car. (25% of all teams used Toyo tyres).
Team Mirage Australia are one of the most successful 24hr endurance teams with a 100% finishing record!
The cars have now finished the Bathurst 24hr twice, Nurburgring 24hr 3 times, Sepang 12hr once & Dubai 24hr twice.
The outright race winner was again the Duller Motorsport BMW Z4 Coupe with 567 laps in the 24 hours
