Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., LTD. Is supporting Technosport Italia, Team Dakar USA, and Pro System Racing in the Dakar Rally 2007, formally known as the Paris-Dakar Rally. The Dakar Rally will be held from the 6th to the 21st of January 2007.

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. will be providing the following teams with off-road tyre support, specifically supplying them with the Toyo Open

Country M/T (Mud Terrain) tyres.

• Pro System Racing, Eric Vigouroux, Chevrolet Silverado.
• Team Dakar USA, Robby Gordon, Hummer H3
• Technosport, Kenjiro Shinosuka, Nissan Pathfinder

All three teams are fitted with the Toyo Open Country M/T (Mud Terrain) tyre and will rely on them for top performance and reliability in the extreme conditions of the Dakar Rally.

These teams will be racing through the European and African continents. The Dakar 2007 will see cars, motorbikes & trucks racing in the toughest rally in the world with over two weeks of battling, travelling thousands of kilometres competing on some really tough tracks.
