Toyo Tires increases AFL signage by 650 per cent with stunning new LED system.

Toyo has jumped at the opportunity to showcase the Toyo Tires brand on a stunning, two tier digital signage system at Australia’s leading AFL venue.

Committed to igniting a passion for the brand and building the profile of the tyres Toyo dealers buy, recommend and fit, Toyo Tires’ has taken a Goal Domination package. Ensuring Toyo will own the stadium and AFL coverage, the signage is expected to receive over 16 hours of live and continual exposure on television and online throughout 2015.

From this weekend onwards, six hundred metres of Toyo Tires branding will light up on two levels of Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium.

Spanning 300 metres at both the Lockett and Coventry ends of the ground, Toyo signage is displayed with dazzling clarity through 22 million LEDs, wrapping around both the circumference of ground-level perimeter fencing and the level one parapet, simultaneously.

The package represents a 650 per cent increase in Toyo Tires’ stadium signage, placing Toyo alongside brands like Toyota, Emirates and Carlton Draught during AFL TV coverage.

An Australian first designed specifically to increase fan engagement, the brand exposure is valued at over an estimated $9 million in television coverage.

In 2014, Toyo's digital signage on the level one parapet spanned 80 metres, achieving over 14 hours of television exposure and around $7.9 million in gross TV value based on Futures Sports + Entertainment analytics.

During the semi final and grand final Toyo’s ‘Tough As’ and Open Country A/T II television commercials will also play on stadium screens. Season tickets and corporate hospitality will be made available to high performing Toyo dealers.

Toyo Tires marketing manager José Angeles believes initiatives like the Goal Domination package are essential in delivering value to dealers.

“Our products lead the market in quality, and utilising the amazing new digital signage system at Etihad Stadium means our advertising does too.

“This campaign will put Toyo Tires in front of an incredible volume of people while giving our dealers the support and brand recognition they need,” he said.
