Unsure what PSI your tyres should be?

Tyre pressure calculations are based on the standards published by the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO) and The Tire & Rim Association of USA (TRA) as applied to the correlation between tyre pressure and load; and speed indexes of the selected tyre.

The tyre pressure calculations are provided as a guide only and assume correct fitment, they cannot take into account the specific conditions of use of the tyres, the degree of wear, varying load configurations or variations in vehicle handling dynamics between different types of vehicles. Consequently, the application of the tyre pressure calculations by you does not create any civil liability or legal obligation on the part of Toyo.

Accuracy depends on the actual loaded weights of the vehicle as provided by the user. Where the loads provided exceed the tyre’s maximum capability, or where the safety margin is less than recommended, loads must be reduced to within the safe operating limits of the tyre.

Lower tyre pressure calculations are intended to get your vehicle through difficult sections of terrain or reduce tyre damage in off-road conditions. You must drive slowly over obstacles and re-inflate your tyres to the recommended tyre pressure once your vehicle is returned to normal applications and conditions.

For caravans, camper trailers, or trailers with more than one axle, calculations assume load-sharing axles; if this is not the case, please contact Toyo for advice.
